Transgender Individuals Can Now Serve Openly in Armed Forces - US

 

The Pentagon on Friday announced that transgender individuals can now serve openly in U.S. Armed Forces.

You Can Now Go To Jail For Selling Or Buying Goods On The Street Of Lagos


It sounds very much like a joke? But, it is not a joke! 

This is the position of the Lagos State Government, to ensure it enforce the lagos state law banning street hawking in the state.

Lagos state Governor Akiwunmi Ambode while featuring on a programme Your-view on TV Continental on Friday morning made it known, that, it is now a crime to sell or buy goods on the street of Lagos

Although street hawking is illegal in the State, it is not really being enforced, but Gov. Ambode said the state is now ready to begin massive enforcement of the laws.

Under the laws, Lagos residents could be sent to jail for buying goods from street and traffic hawkers. Street buyers and sellers are now both liable to six months imprisonment or N90,000 fine.

13-Year-Old Israeli Girl Stabbed To Death By A Palestinian

A thirteen Thirteen-year-old Isreali girl has been killed by a Palestinian in the Kiryat Arba.

The girl named Hallel Yaffa Ariel was attacked while she slept inside her bedroom and repeatedly stabbed in the upper body.

A security guard who responded to the incident was wounded before the attacker was shot dead by other guards.

Reports say he died at his residence in Abuja, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

The former National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was born on May 6, 1945 in Abia State.

Maduekwe also served as minister of foreign affairs and culture and tourism, during the Umaru Yar’Adua and Olusegun Obasanjo administrations, respectively.

Forgery trial: Court Grants Saraki, Ekweremadu Bail


The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory has granted Senate President, Bukola Saraki; his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, and two others bail in their trial over an alleged forgery.


All four accused persons pleaded not guilty after which their lawyers argued that they be granted bail.

EFCC Charged Ex-Chief of Air Staff To Court

 
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has charged the Ex-Chief of Air Staff, Retired Air Marshal Adesola Amosu Nunayon to court following accusations of N21billion fraud charges.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, the EFCC has filed the suit bordering on money laundering against Amosu alongside Air Vice-Marshal Jacob Bola Adigun and Air Commodore Gbadebo Owodunni Olugbenga.
