Fuel Price Hike: FTC Workers Shun Strike



 
The industrial action called by the factional President of the Nigerian Labour Congress ,NLC, Comrade Ayuba Wabba Wednesday failed as workers in the public and private sector disobeyed the sit-at-home order and showed up to perform their duties. 
According to Vanguard, a survey carried out showed that the Federal Secretariat, the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the 
National Assembly indicated that civil servants showed up at their duty posts, and business is going as usual at the National Assembly complex 
The federal government had announce the principle of  “no work-no pay” if workers decide to join the strike action.
