After the second day of the industrial action embarked on by
the Nigeria Labor Congress NLC due to the hike in the price of petrol, the Senate
President Bukola Saraki met with the Ayuba Wabba-led faction of the Nigeria
Labor Congress NLC at the National Assembly Yesterday May 19th to
mediate between the union and the Federal Government.
The meeting was majorly centered on ways of ending the
faceoff between Labor and the presidency over the recent increase in pump price
of petrol.
