At a service to to mark the end of a two-week compulsory
fasting and prayers, held at the IBB Square in Makurdi, the state capital, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom is
pictured rolling on the floor to ask God for
forgiveness of the sins the people in the state have committed.
According to the Governor, he said the Lord revealed to him
that the state is going through difficult time due to the sins of the people in
the state
The state is passing through tough times, workers have not
been paid for 4-5 months with no completed project after one year, but Governor
Ortom says there are hope as he attempts to recover looted funds from the past
administration worth N107bn.
