After weeks abroad, Former President Goodluck Jonathan on
Wednesday returned to Nigeria and reportedly headed straight to his hometown in
Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
It was gathered that the former President arrived at the
Port Harcourt International Airport on Wednesday and arrived at Otuoke at 9 pm.
This is coming as plans are in top gear by Rivers State
governor, Nyesom Wike to beef up security as President Buhari commences his
scheduled visit to Ogoni in Rivers state on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
Confirming Jonatha's return, Reno Omokri, former senior
special assistant to the ex-President on social media, later confirmed that the
Nigerian leader had arrived his Otuoke hometown in Bayelsa.
