These are the photos of over 1700 African migrant, including
small children an dbabies recued in the Mediterranean Thursday, June 23.
The rescued operation was carried out bu MSF Sea and the
Italian Navy
Many of the unseaworthy rubber boats were spotted about 40km
from the coast. The rescue ships are
currently heading to Italy with the
migrants.
